I was a storm trapped in a bottle,
spinning against the glass,
a prisoner to empty promises,
which folded into silence,
to intentions whispered,
which then left to die.
I stayed,
through cold conversations,
and half-hearted smiles,
through questions unanswered,
and nights where hope
was nothing but a shadow
pretending to be light.
I stayed,
a hopeless dreamer,
chasing echoes,
mistaking borrowed words
for borrowed love.
But illusions crack,
and curtains fall on dreams.
while intentions are echoes,
and echoes fade quick.
For a person is known—
not by their intentions,
but by their actions,
which carry consequences.
I gave time
to a bond that was glass—
fragile, empty, see-through.
I let it cut me,
let it shape me,
let it hold me hostage.
But the glass broke.
And so did I.
Shards at my feet,
I bled,
but I stood.
Look.
Look what you’ve done.
You cracked the glass,
but I shaped the shards
into mirrors—
and they now reflect me.
No longer waiting for answers,
I carved my own path—
beyond shadows that clung too close,
beyond voices that never stayed.
I sweat, I bleed, I burn.
I am the fuel and the flame.
I strike gold in every fall,
because falling isn’t losing—
it’s learning where to fly.
And fly, I will.
Through every doubt,
every empty word,
every illusion
that made me stay.
I’ll rise above the noise,
and let my silence speak.
I’ll build a future with my hands,
because the past has no hold on me.
And so,
Look again.
Look what you’ve done.
I’m a starboy.
