There was a girl named Lekha who was fourteen years at age. She was now sitting in a bus, just looking out of the window. And when she spun to the aisle, she saw a man sitting next to her. But he had his attention the other way.
The engine of the bus rumbled back to life from the stop, and she was getting a bit bored. So she took out the packet of biscuits from her bag and started to eat it. She handpicked the first biscuit from the packet, and the man sitting next to her picked the second biscuit without even asking her. Lekha grew vexed on how can an unknown person could take something without permission.
She picked the third biscuit and once more, the anonymous man picked the next biscuit. Lekha became tremendously annoyed and irritated.
The same thing went on until the last biscuit endured in the packet. Lekha grabbed it from the packet and guzzled it. She tried her best to not look at the man and wondered what kind of person he is. He’d eaten half of the biscuits and hadn’t even said thank you!
Subsequently, after a few minutes, the bus arrived at her stop and Lekha hopped out of the bus. She walked to her house on foot, which was a block away in the lane. After reaching home, she undid her bag and found the same packet of biscuits lying there.
She didn’t understand how the packet was still there, although she had clearly eaten it. It was then she realized that the biscuit packet she ate from was not hers, but the unknown man’s food. She had eaten half of his biscuits without his permission and hadn’t even said thank you!
